This collaboration with Japanese artisans FPS explores the shared values between Scottish and Japanese craft cultures: restraint, precision, and deep respect for material and process.

Using traditional Scottish tartan as the foundation, we reinterpreted the fabric through a distinctly Japanese lens; stripping back excess and focusing on form, balance, and utility. The result is a limited-edition range of golf headcovers that feels both familiar and unexpected; Scottish in origin, Japanese in spirit.

Each piece brings together woven tartan from Scotland and the meticulous construction associated with Japanese craftsmanship, creating objects that celebrate cultural exchange rather than novelty. The collection proved that tartan is not fixed to one context, but capable of evolving when handled with care and intent.
